Is it possible to disable the automatic screenshot that is taken and attached to bug reports when we launch the UI using Shake.show()?

Releasing this feature to
Shake Flutter
and Shake React Native
allows you to disable or enable an automatic screenshot while invoking Shake. Visit the docs for Flutter and React Native for more information.Peter Simic

[React Native] Allow option to exclude screenshot

We are currently working on an mobile app for a client who would like to use Shake for post release handling of feedback. To that end, their idea was to include a link in our account menu screen that would invoke the Shake UI. However, with the current state of Shake for React Native, any invocation automatically screenshots the currently visible UI. For a general feedback link/button, this is of course not desirable as the user may want to make comments or suggestions that do not related to that screen.
Shake is a great product, but its current implementation limits its applicability to just pre-release bug reports. It would be nice to be able to use it also for general feedback post release as well.

Woohoo, we've decided to add this feature! And we plan to release in 5-8 weeks.

Just want to up vote this feature request, because automatic shot sometimes doesn't make any sense if the code is called from unrelated screen like settings.

That's quite an interesting suggestion to add as a customization possibility, and we'll certainly consider it. The current SDK version doesn't have such an option.
P.S.
However, Shake's "Silent report" feature (https://www.shakebugs.com/docs/ios/silent-reports#overview) does already have that feature so if that might help you in any way, consider using that feature. As an example, you could use your own form UI to collect only the text description from the user, and nothing else. And with the silent report you can then send yourself a full report without the screenshot 👍
