New module: Releases 🚀

We've been building this one for a while, and it's finally here.

Meet the Releases module - a new section in your Shake Dashboard that tells you whether your app is actually ready to ship, based on the data Shake has already been collecting during your internal testing.

Here's what you get for each release version:

Release health score - a single 0.0–10.0 score built from six weighted metrics. Adjust the weights to match what matters most to your team.

Endpoints health - see how your backend endpoints are holding up: 2xx vs. 3xx, 4xx, and 5xx breakdown per endpoint, with your worst performer driving the score.

Crash-free sessions - the percentage of sessions that ended without a fatal crash.

Network traffic speed - p95 response times across your endpoints, ranked from slowest to fastest.

Resolution rate - how fast your team is closing defects vs. creating new ones, weighted by priority.

MTTR - mean time to resolve, so you can see if your team is actually getting faster.

Testing coverage - how broadly the build was tested across OS versions, devices, locales, network types, and other dimensions you define.

On top of that: set Guardrails to enforce hard quality thresholds automatically, and get an AI-generated release summary that pulls it all together in a few sentences.

Find it in the left sidebar of your Dashboard.

New Feature: AI Shortcuts in the Sheldon Box!

We’ve just made it even easier to get deep insights on your tickets. Sheldon’s summary and next steps now come with Direct AI Buttons.

What’s new? - You’ll find buttons for ChatGPT, Claude, and other tools directly inside the Sheldon box. How it works? - One click opens the tool and automatically pushes the ticket data and a pre-set prompt for you.

No more manual copying and pasting. Let Sheldon handle the heavy lifting!

New Integration: Shake + Notion 🚀

We're excited to announce that you can now send bug reports and session recordings directly from Shake to your Notion databases!

Keep your workspace organized: No more manual data entry.

Context is key: Technical logs and metadata are attached to your Notion pages automatically.

Seamless workflow: Connect your debugging process with your documentation in seconds.

This integration is available on all plans, including our Free plan.

🚀 New Organization Plan Features: Built on your feedback!

We’ve just introduced 3 new features to the Organization plan to make Shake even more flexible for advanced workflows:

🛠️ Custom Integrations: Tailored setups built for your team's unique requirements.

🔌 REST API: Total flexibility to integrate Shake data into your own internal tools and dashboards.

🤝 Private Slack Channel: A dedicated, direct line to our team for the fastest possible support.

We built these based on your feedback to ensure Shake fits perfectly into your daily routine. We can’t wait to see how you use them!

Shake MCP: Talk to your AI agents

The Shake MCP server connects your AI agents and tools to tickets you have collected in Shake. Say goodbye to manual triage! Now your agents can "read" your reports to suggest fixes, summarize feedback, or draft replies in real-time. You stay in your flow while Shake provides the technical context your AI needs to help you work faster. Learn how to connect here. As always, if you have questions about the setup or anything else, feel free to reach out.

Chrome extension update: Voice recording now available

Shake’s Chrome extension now lets you record your microphone along with your video. Say goodbye to long written explanations! This means you can narrate exactly what’s happening in real-time, giving your team full context while Shake handles the technical details. But don’t worry—we aren't listening in! You’re in total control and will need to allow microphone access first before you start recording.

Chrome extension update: Hover states captured automatically

Shake’s Chrome extension can now capture hover states with a delayed screenshot. No more missing those tricky UI states, just hover, and Shake takes care of the rest automatically.

Chrome extension update: you’re in full control

Shake’s Chrome extension now works only on websites you explicitly approve. Nothing runs in the background, and we do not track any data. You decide where Shake is active, and where it’s not. As always, if you have questions about privacy or anything else, feel free to reach out.

Meet Sheldon, our AI assistant

You might have noticed a new teammate in your bug reports - Sheldon, Shake’s AI assistant! He helps you understand what went wrong without digging through long bug reports, summarising the issue and key context for you, completely free. And don’t worry, Sheldon is a trustworthy teammate; your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. P.S. Feel free to rate his responses so he can get even smarter! P.P.S. More small updates are coming soon, we’ll keep them short and visual!
